Summer weekend wear

I don't know if I've mentioned this yet... but the weather in Ireland has been unbelievable. Temperatures have been in the 70s & 80s the past month! That's true summer weather in my book.

J.Crew has become one of my favorite shops (winter or summer). Unfortunately, its nowhere to be found in Dublin. So for now, this inspiration board will have to do.

Travel Style

After doing a bit of traveling over here, I've learned what absolutely works for me on a long plane ride. Here's some picks you would find me wearing, on the aisle seat of course!

cardigan // t-shirt // scarf // leggings // tote // socks // booties

Socks have become a must-have in my travel bag. Along with some other pieces I might just put together in another post.

Nothing will beat 1st class luxury with all their bells and whistles, but until I reach that status, these lovely pieces will have to do.

lazy days

I think I am going through vacation-withdrawal.

I am having the hardest time getting back into the swing of things. From our visit home followed by our fabulous trip to Italy, its not been easy getting back into the daily routine over here. Ugh! Blogging, healthy meal planning and exercise regularly have seriously gone out the window this week.

I swear I'll get myself back into gear this weekend.

By that I mean, you can find me lying in this lovely little hammock wearing this fabulous hat. :)
Coming back next week refreshed and ready to get my life in order!

Instagram recap from Italy

We are officially back from a truly amazing trip to Italy. One of the best trips and places I have ever been.

Our trek through Italy started in Rome. After a few days we took the train up to Florence. What a gorgeous city! While we were there, we took a day trip through Tuscany- stopping in Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. Then we headed to the west coast and spent a couple days in Cinque Terre. Amazing. Lastly, we took the train to Milan and spent our last couple days roaming the city and doing a bit of shopping.

This trip was such a great mix of city and beach, site seeing and relaxing.

Pretty white kitchens

I have been absolutely lusting over the kitchens I have seen on Pinterest lately.

Maybe its the ultra small and minimalist kitchen we have here in Dublin or love of all things white + gray, but these are so pretty and clean... I'm going need something like this. One day. Soon.
