Weekend Recap

Happy November! I hope you had a good Halloween weekend and enjoyed the bonus hour yesterday.

Here are some of our Austin Adventures from the weekend:
Austin's iconic postcard mural
S 1st Street & Annie Street
(The most ridiculous and delicious donut truck around!)

We even managed to pull together some diy costumes for a fun date night.
They look strikingly similar to last year... Cat Burglar. (Same costume, different city = safe, right?)

Yay for exploring Austin! One of my favorite cities! Props on your DIY costumes- my alma mater was playing football from 7 to 11, so my costume was "fan".

Loved seeing the entire wall like that. I always see it close up. I have a pair of cat ears as well, so easy to throw together a cute outfit!

Totally safe! Just keep spending Halloween in different cities every year, and you can keep those costumes going on for a good while! ;)

I can't believe that there are leaves on the ground in Texas! I've been waiting for it to finally start feeling like fall around here! We've visited Austin a few times, but we've never been to Gourdough's. I'll have to add it to our list of must try places when we visit again!

I really want to go to Austin, I heard it's similar to Portland, OR (my hometown) and that donut truck makes me believe it!

Cat Burglar is really cute- you look gorgeous! Random but I love your backsplash!
