Creating the perfect cheese board

I am a huge fan of throwing, attending and/or creating a wine + cheese party. I think I love the social aspect as much as I love all the tasty nibbles and sips.

In fact, we are having some friends over next week for this very reason.

Here's are the elements I think constitutes as a well-rounded & perfect cheese board.

rustic crackers // cheese markers // gourmet almonds // cheese board
square ramekin // cheese knives // honey // jam // miniature spoons

Just add cheese! My favorite varieties include a sharp cheddar, a blue or gorgonzola, brie (my favorite!) and a goat's cheese. A good mix of flavors and textures.

    Ahh this is amazing. At any dinner party, the cheese portion is no-fail always my favorite part of the evening :) I also love those chalkboard cheeseboards in which you can label all of the different kinds of cheeses and spreads!

    That cheese board is beautiful! My hubby would be as excited over that as I am, and we'd probably leave it out for display 24/7..and never want to use it for cheese 'cause it's so pretty. Haha. (We're totally those people.) :) Thanks for the inspiration!

    Cheese is one of my favorite things in the world....add wine and I could live off this forever!! Its perfect for a game night with friends. I love adding honey as well and some fig jam...
