Happy Friday! I am rounding up some of my favorite recent links around the web.
one // New Emojis! Bacon, Bubbles, Bumps... and so many more good ones! Seen on Brit & Co.
two // Gourmet Iced coffee recipe.
three // DIY pencil pouches just in time for back-to-school.
four // 30 Kitchen Hacks every adult should know.
five // Have you seen the 2 Kinds of People Tumblr page? So fun and I love the graphics.
I am currently in Idaho and kicking off the weekend festivities for my best friend's wedding! I'm so honored to stand by her side tomorrow, but beyond nervous for my MOH speech! Eek! Any last minute tips?

Friday Sales + Links
Here are some great links from around the web:
I couldn't let this day slip by without mentioning the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I was able to snag my first pair of Rag & Bone jeans, which I am so excited about! (I found they ran a bit big, so I sized down.)
Here are the other items on my wishlist:
I love that clean rose gold watch. And I swear by the No Frizz products by Living Proof. So good!
So happy the weekend is here. We are celebrating two birthdays this weekend: our nephew and my dad.
Hope you have a great weekend planned!

- The skinny on summer fruit and how to find, wash and store.
- A couple recent articles (here and here) from Anthony Bourdain. Just finished his book too. So entertaining!
- Did you hear about J.Crew's new shop, Mercantile? Is this different than their Factory Store?
- In case you missed it, here is Caitlyn Jenner's full speech from the Espy's. Grab a tissue first.
- Unique ice cream flavors that sound amazing this summer!

Festive links for Friday
Happy Friday!
Halloween is right around the corner... and I haven't planned a thing. We don't have costumes, pumpkins or plans. That's what this weekend is for, right?
Here are 5 festive links to get into Halloween mode:
Doughnut pumpkins // Pumpkin pull apart bread // Caramel apple bar // Tablescape + garland diy // Halloween candy bark
I love the idea of leftover halloween candy bark. Such an easy recipe and a crowd pleaser the next week in the office! Here's a past recipe and guide for peppermint bark. So good. So easy.
To be honest, it isn't my favorite holiday. But I am looking forward to staying in with the bird and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. I always love seeing the fun costumes.

Updates, News and Links
I have a mishmash of things to bring to you today. All good, fun and exciting!
Updates:
- We are moving home! Not yet, we have a couple trips planned. But in August, it's back to San Francisco we go! WooHoo! More to come as we finalize all the details.
News:
On that note...
- Next Friday, we are off to Palma de Mallorca, Spain to meet up with one of my besties who is traveling there.
- And in July, we are taking a cruise! It leaves from Venice, traveling to Croatia, Greece and Turkey. I've officially dubbed this trip our grand finale. I cannot wait! Currently taking all recommendations.
Links:
- Watermelon sherbert with chocolate chip seeds? Yes, please.
- Loving this retro beach radio. My two favorite are the mint/neon or the gray/coral ones.
- This is the ultimate overnight oats recipe. Looking forward to making this soon!

Five Thoughts for Friday
I am taking a break from recapping our Italy trip for some tidbits happening in my world.
1. As I mentioned previously, my brother is in town this week! Yay! We are headed to London for the weekend. What a lucky duck he's spending his spring break in Dublin and London!
2. At the recommendation of Jillian, I started my second Jojo Moyes book: The Girl You Left Behind. Here's the list of the last few books I've read.
3. The bird and I completed one week of oil pulling. Although it isn't the best way to wake up, it really isn't so bad. I distract myself with catching up on social media and emails in the morning. Here and here are a couple people talking about it.
4. I am finally making the decision to do a redesign for the blog... and I need help! If you have any suggestions for blog designers, please send them my way or leave me a comment.
5. Lastly... Get excited for an upcoming giveaway week! March marked my 3 year blog anniversary and I wanted to put together something special for all my lovely readers. The giveaways are scheduled for the week of April 7th!

Midweek Links
I am in the midst of packing, laundering and charging up all our devices, but I wanted to drop by for a little midweek post with some lovely links.
1 | I love this gorgeous floral letter diy. Peonies and garden roses... swoon!
2 | Find out which 90s babe is your fashion icon.
3 | Did you see Chelsea Handler's new office? I love the open layout and pops of color.
4 | Oh, and can we talk about this pretzel wrapped cookie dough for a second?
5 | On the contrary, I will need to counter that decadent dessert with this no-equipment circuit training workout.
So excited to leave for our trip to Italy tomorrow! WooHoo! Fun fact, the fabulous Home Sweet Ruby will be in Italy the same week as us!
