Bedroom Makeover

It's hard to say whats better than getting a new bed. I mentioned before I have had mine since high school! {So embarrassing to admit! Especially since I just posted about my 10-year high school reunion!}

But today, I am here to announce, we have taken the plunge. If any of you are also in the market for a new bed set... you can share my pain. And know that plunge means dropping some serious $$$! Wowza, these things are expensive!

Today, we purchased the first piece. We got a new headboard. Here is the sneak peak at the little beauty:
We decided on white so we could add color to the rest of the room.

I put together this little inspiration board together out of sheer excitement and design therapy!
In case you are interested in any of the items, I used West Elm as my inspiration today:
1. West Elm Duvet set
2. Benjamin Moore Paint {Accent Wall}
3. Glass Table Lamp
4. Jewlery Box
7. Printed bench
8. Throw pillows

I am so excited to put this room together. But for now... I'm off to Chicago for my vaca + 1/2 marathon with my mom. Wish us luck!
