We learned how to hold the pointed pen, as well as practiced the basic strokes, letter forms and connections. She also gave us a ton of information on what and where to buy materials, paper and ink.

This sounds like so much fun!! I have been following many calligraphers and I would love to go to a class soon! As a planner I often have clients asked if I know calligraphy and as much as I have tried, I just can't get it down! I would love someone actually walking me through it!

oh, wow! this is so fancy! i would love to do something like this. first i would need to go to a regular handwriting class to make my normal handwriting neat. haha.
I have never even heard of such a thing but so cool!!! My handwriting is devolving with technology and I swear looks like ransom note material. I could probably benefit! Looks so pretty too!
