Jetsetting to Barcelona

The bird and I are so lucky to have another set of visitors coming to town! My family comes in on Friday for their 1st visit to Dublin!

This weekend we are headed off to Barcelona for 4 days! I am so excited to visit Spain for the first time!

Chambray + Lace

I have been inspired by my new chambray shirts and keep trying to figure what to tie them with, like here. I need to be more brave and creative.

Utility Wear

I don't know if its because Dublin is always cold and jackets are definitely a must whenever leaving the house, but we have an array of great options here at every store.

Back at home in California, you could really only buy a jacket a couple months out of the year. After that, they are replaced with swimwear and flip flops.

The utility coat (what I like to call the Hunger Games jacket) is a trend I am quickly falling in love with. I love the Zara one and almost purchased it the other day! And the Ted Baker one also come in a pale pink, found here.

I am also partial to the ankle bootie these days and love these utility looking boots to match the jacket:

A favorite new trend popping up this spring is white and white on white and more white. And even if you follow the white wearing rules of labor day & memorial day, that's just around the corner!

Shoe shine

It is actually a lovely little "spring" day here in Dublin, Ireland. The sun is out and the high today is 48! Things are looking up! There may be rain the forecast the rest of the week... but who's counting!
